NO GRACE were created by songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Michael Baum & drummer Ines Baum. They started their project at the turn of the millenium 2000. Since then they were supported by different and experienced musicians from the scene in and around the vibrant city of Hamburg. In May 2009 Angela Kahland completed the line up as bass player.

In the beginning the compositions of NO GRACE were rough and included various styles, and it was already possible to hear the individuality of the songwriter-duo with a clear progressive touch.

2006 the concept-album “Pro Leben” was published, which marked the end of a musical period. Michael's lyrics had right from the start a sociocritical character. At “Pro Leben” he combines poetry & sociocriticism and performed a positive mixture. He describes real personalities who acted with courage of one’s concivtions and go all out for humanity and the care of the environment, often under the hardest conditions.

At this time the NO GRACE-trio works at their new programme classify to the genre Progressive Gothic Rock. For sample you can listen to it live at a few special concerts. Studio dates are planed. Music & Magic! Expect the overwhelming!
